This internship position is a great opportunity to leverage your creative skills to drive new business in a rapidly growing company with the possibility of it turning into a full time position. You’ll be able to work from home and make money at the same time. You’ll be responsible for building a database of prospective clients in your area, forward promotional mailers and set in person meetings to help build a network of business affiliates who see value in our Brand Activation Events. This requires creativity, resourcefulness, persuasion, determination, a competitive spirit, and the ability to easily connect with people from all walks of life.
In return, you’ll receive a basic stipend to cover up your expenses plus incentives per account sign up/ sales conversion and get college credit at the same time. The College Brand Ambassador will lead or contribute on one or more projects in the following areas:
- Build a database of prospective clients in your territory
- Creating awareness about Hotels (facilities and services offered) by sensible presentation and distribution of promotional material amongst the prospective clients
- Participating in Company organized Road Shows and other Promotional Events in the your area of operation
- Inviting and building a team of volunteers interested in participating in our Road Shows, Promotional Events and Trade Shows
- Initiating Joint Marketing Actions with Key Partners (Banks, Credit Card Companies, Domestic Airlines, Indian Railways, Social Clubs, Event Management Companies etc.)
- Events and Trade Show Presence maximization (through pre-event invitations, road shows/ campaigns, brand activation events and other promotional activities)
- Travel Agents & Tour Operators reach and training programmes
- Direct Sales Activities and reach to Corporate Houses, Leisure and Business travelers
- Manage your own leads; utilize outbound sales calls to clients in your territory.
- Make a good volume of daily sales cold calls and set up appointments.
- Close deals
- Achieve and consistently exceed monthly sales goals
